I know this isn't everyones cup of tea, but give it a listen.
Of the the first to bring drone to light. Very minimal. The first track; Raga for Ravi last nearly 40 mins and leaves you confused but well satisfied!! hope you like it.
I believe it was released in 1974.

Highly recommended if given the chance!!

Stoner/Psych from Brooklyn NY.

Quality stuff here. Slow Groovy Stoner riffs with huge psychedelic vocals, Think Om, Acid King and Electric Wizard in the same joint.

Brilliant release.

Amazing Progressive Black Metal album by Norway’s Enslaved released in 2003. The First track; As Fire Swept Clean the Earth has one of the catchiest riffs I have ever heard. Pure Enslaved!! Brilliant Band.

Earth - Earth 2

This is the first full-length release from legendary Drone Doomers Earth. Considered one of the pioneering drone doom albums with good reason. Pushing 75 minutes in three songs says it all, paving the way for the likes of Sunn 0))), Moss, Nadja and many more they decided to change there musical direction and pursue a much cleaner and relaxed sound, for example Hibernaculum (2007) and The Bees Made Honey In The Lion's Skull (2009). Every album a winner in the eyes of a drone fan.

Boris - Amplifier Worship

Japanese Doomsters Boris have a totally unique sound, especially on there slower releases such as this.
This 5 track piece of awesome in the form of Huge, Ganbow-Ki, Hama, Kuruimizu and Vomitself is probably my favorite Boris album to date. Bone crushingly low doom followed by stoner rockery tunage. Top.
