A Forest of Stars

A Forest of Stars have been at the forefront of UK black metal for quite a few years, with their original blend of Victorian influenced black metal and their fitting attire they still remain so. Having had the pleasure of playing bass for them many moons ago and sharing a stage a few times with my band Wiht, I know them all very well. They have released two full length records, the first being The Corpse of Rebirth, released back in 2008 (which I had the pleasure of playing live!) is a steam powered masterpiece of the highst degree, with Mr Curse's vocals haunting enough to make the ghost of Queen Vic' herself cower in fear.
Their second record, Opportunistic Thieves of Spring, is totally different to The Corpse of Rebirth, a lot darker, and leaves you feeling that bit more lonely. My favourites of this record have to be  Summertide’s Approach, and Thunders Cannonade.
We are currently waiting on their third release, I can't wait for this bad boy. To my knowledge it has been completed and are now waiting for a release date. Sweeeet.
I'm sure they will be doing a few live shows to support their new album so be sure to check them out. They will crush you.
